About
waterloop is a nonprofit media outlet helping water leaders to discover solutions and create change. It is for people who work in water management, such as utilities, government, universities, engineering firms, technology companies, nonprofits, and NGOs. Through its podcast, videos, and social media content, waterloop helps water leaders learn from peers, adopt new approaches, and increase sustainability and equity.
waterloop maintains editorial independence in selection and distribution of content. Grants and sponsorships are accepted for the support of operations and for coverage of particular topics, but news selections are made independently. waterloop identifies all sources of funding.

Travis Loop
President and Founder
Travis Loop has 20 years of experience in communications and media. He formerly directed water communications for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Washington, D.C. and managed public affairs for EPA’s Chesapeake Bay restoration program in Annapolis, Md. Travis also served as the speechwriter and a communications manager for the Governor of Hawaii. He began his career as a newspaper reporter and editor.
