They explain that the public can’t understand most reports because they are too technical, difficult to understand, and out of date, but could be positively overhauled by utilities with creative data visualization, a desire to build trust, and a customer service mindset. Tim says the Water Data Prize is a design competition to present new concepts for presenting drinking water information to consumers.
